Original vs DX Copycat: B1-270 and B4b-424 compared

Original Copycat is B1-270 from Mega Rising. DX Copycat is B4b-424 from Deluxe Pack: Mega. Both are two-star cards, but their artwork and set numbers differ.

  1. 01

    Which card is original Copycat?

In trade posts, “original Copycat” usually means the two-star Mega Rising illustration B1-270. Specify B1-270 rather than relying on the nickname.

  2. 02

    Which card is DX Copycat?

“DX Copycat” usually means the two-star Deluxe Pack: Mega illustration B4b-424. It is not the B1-270 illustration, even though both cards are named Copycat.

  3. 03

Is B1-225 the original two-star card?

No. B1-225 is an ordinary Copycat printing. For the two-star original illustration, look for B1-270 and compare the artwork above.

  4. 04

How should I write my request?

For example: “LF Copycat B1-270 (original, two-star); FT Copycat B4b-424 (DX, two-star).” LF means looking for; FT means for trade. If either illustration is acceptable, say so.

  5. 05

Where can I find the right version?

Choose the matching card above to view its details or search requests filtered to that exact number. A search result does not guarantee availability; confirm the illustration and stock with the player before trading in the game.
