Who handles your data

The TCG Pocket Trades (tcgpockettrades.com) website maintainer handles data for this website. Use the Data and privacy requests link below to contact us. This policy describes the current features of the site.

Local collection and visitor identity

Card quantities, wishlists, trade markers, preferences and trade receipts are stored in your browser. Trading uses a Supabase identity, including anonymous visitors, with sign-in credentials stored in the browser. Clearing browser data may remove access to an unlinked identity. Viewing your collection does not automatically make it public.

Public and private information

Published listings display your nickname, game friend code, selected cards, available quantities and notes to other players. Do not put your email or sensitive information in public notes. Offers, confirmations and cloud collection backups are managed through account access controls. A linked email is used for verification, account recovery and trade alerts you choose to enable; it is not displayed publicly.

Screenshot recognition and feedback

Local recognition processes screenshots on your device. Cloud recognition sends screenshots to our server and may use Google Gemini. The server caches recognition results and image hashes for up to approximately 24 hours; restart or capacity cleanup may remove them sooner. This does not describe third-party retention. Feedback sends your message, optional email, page, language, relevant card IDs and any image you deliberately attach.

Service providers and external links

Cloudflare hosts the website and runs its endpoints; Supabase provides authentication and data storage. Feedback quotas use a keyed hash of the IP rather than storing the raw IP. Quota records older than one day are cleaned during subsequent submissions. When trade email alerts are enabled, Resend processes recipient addresses and notification content. Image providers, Google cloud recognition, Amazon shopping and Ko-fi support pages have their own data policies. Providers may process data outside your country. Our server, host and providers may process IP addresses and technical logs for security, abuse prevention and service delivery.

Browser storage and notification choices

The site uses local storage for collections, preferences and sign-in state. The current source code does not integrate advertising tracking pixels or third-party traffic analytics scripts. After you follow shopping links, third parties may use cookies under their policies. Trade emails are optional, off by default, and can be disabled in My trades. Disabling alerts does not delete your account or collection.

Retention, correction and deletion

Local data remains until you clear or replace it. Cloud identities, collections, listings and trade records currently have no uniform automatic deletion period; expiry or cancellation does not delete a listing record. Feedback is managed manually and historical email queue records do not currently have automatic cleanup. Request access, correction or deletion of your own data through the link below. The maintainer checks identity, applicable requirements and security needs before handling requests. There is no one-click account deletion feature yet. Never send passwords, access tokens or private keys.
